Capsule Pressure Gauges are designed for measuring very low pressures of gases, typically in the range of a few millibars to hundreds of millibars. They use a capsule element made by joining two thin, corrugated diaphragms. When pressure is applied, the capsule expands or contracts, and this movement is transferred to a pointer on the dial through a mechanical linkage.
These gauges are highly sensitive and are commonly used for applications such as air flow measurement, draft measurement in heating systems, leak testing, filter monitoring, and laboratory processes.
