The Atlas Copco ROC L6 is a high-capacity down-the-hole (DTH) crawler drill rig built for surface operations such as quarry blast hole drilling in soft, medium, and hard rock. It combines robust drilling performance with good mobility, enabling vertical, horizontal, or angled hole drilling. Fitted with a powerful diesel engine and a high-pressure screw compressor, it delivers strong air volume at high pressure, allowing use of sizeable DTH hammers (COP 34 / 44 / 54 etc.), with large hole diameter capability and deep drilling. The rig includes features like electronic depth and inclination control, optional GPS/aiming tools, tube handling systems, and a well-protected operator cabin with ROPS/FOPS to ensure safety and efficiency in tough environments. Maintenance access and support systems are built in, making it suitable for demanding multi-site operations.
